The installation represents the stone located on the mirror. The stone is surrounded by other objects, which are sinking and dissolving into the reflection.
The name of the piece refers to the biblical story, which was often depicted in artworks during the Italian Renaissance. The hero (David) was often represented as a strong/ fragile boy of sixteen years old.
This installation retreats from the literal reproduction of the hero's image. It transmits the story of how the unarmed shepherd went against the warrior and won him with just a simple stone.
